Barbara Krinitz :
*Neil Diamond's
Just For You, because
it was the first album I ever bought for myself.
*Peter, Paul, and Mary's
10 Years
Together because I've liked them since I was a little kid and I especially
loved the songs on that album (especially “Day Is Done”).
*I’ve been trying to come up with only
ONE more album that I'm thankful for, and I can't narrow it down. Just can't. So
I’ve decided to be very egotistical (in this time of giving!) and say that it's
Fast Folk Musical Magazine Vol.2, #10 December 1986, because that was the first
one that had my name on it as part of "General Staff/Contributors" (I was Photo
Editor for a couple of years after that). You have no idea how proud I was to
have my name on a record!!!!

Michael Fedofsky:
It’s tough to set a ranking because
these are not necessarily my all-time faves, just ones that I’m thankful for.
They represent songs that I seem to return to and hear with fresh ears each
time. Does that discount Dylan, The Beatles, Stones, Cash, Coltrane, Doc
Watson or all of the other artists that will always have the support of my
purchases? No… it’s these three that I’ve chosen because of their hook on me.
*Miles Davis: Kind of Blue
*Muddy Waters: Fathers &
Sons
*Ry Cooder: Paradise & Lunch

Nancy Vanden Houten:
When it comes down to it,
the 3 albums I'm most thankful for have to be the first three

Ken Shane:
*1. Brian Wilson - Smile
*2. Vigilantes of Love -
Audible Sigh
*3. Marah - Kids In Philly

Karen Zundel:
*Any Ellis Paul but most particularly
Translucent Soul
*Any Lynn Miles but most particularly Slightly Haunted
*Any John Smith but most particularly To The Four Directions

Bruce Springsteen
albums...especially Born To Run... I love many styles of music and love
many, many albums...but these records (even after 30 years) have the power to
make me smile and give me hope, even during life's most difficult stretches...I
don't think I can say that about any other artist...
