If any of you heard the final moments of Anton's last
show on 5/26/07, then you have a good indication of how humble and decent a person he is. Anton has always carried himself with the same sincerity and dignity
both on and off the air. As I said on the program last week, Anton is a gentleman (better put, a gentle man) in the truest sense of the word. On behalf of all of
us at WFDU and you, the listeners of Crash on the Levee, we wish Anton all the best in Chicago as he begins the next part of his life journey!
Many thanks to all who pledged their support to
WFDU and COTL during our February fund drive. We still
have about 18% of the audience that needs to fulfill
their pledges as of this writing. Please contact me if
you did not receive a pledge packet, or send off your
pledge as soon as you can!

Finally, many of you have visited the contests
page and won tickets for the fabulous "Midnight
Rambles" at Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock. We'll
continue to have passes exclusively for COTL listeners
throughout the summer, for as long as the Rambles go
on! Be sure to visit the Contests page and send us an e-mail,
it's easy and will be one of the best live music
experiences you'll ever have!
Please continue to keep your e-mails coming,
provide us with your comments and input regarding the
site and the program. It truly is YOUR show along with
your fellow listeners, and I sincerely appreciate your
comments. Talk to you on Saturday mornings...
Much peace to you and yours,
Jerry
