November 12, 2005 -- Well, it's about time I checked in here!
Hope you've been using and enjoying the site, and many thanks for your
e-mails and comments thus far. We're continually working on keeping
the site as useful as possible, but I still need your input!
Suggestions, comments, questions, ideas for new material, just send an
email and let us
know what we can do. The guestbook
could also use a little of your patronage as well!
Since last checking in, we've had
some terrific guest spots, including Kenny White, Red Molly, Tish
Hinojosa, Graham Parker and Son Volt. Also hope you enjoyed the
4-part Johnny Cash special, and see the Bob Dylan section for more
on the upcoming "No Direction Home" radio series. The photos from
Newport and Nashville are both up as well, and many of you have won
CD's from the contests page. Let's get some more freebies to all of
you!
I've been asked to submit seven
albums that you're thankful for (yes, it's already Thanksgiving!)
for an upcoming New York Times article. Check back soon for
all the info and how to submit your entries.
There will many more great guests and
other happenings as we prepare for the winter... a time, I find,
where radio becomes one of our finest companions. Hope you continue
